Christmas and Lettie :)

We had a great Christmas this year! The festivities started the weekend before with two parties at Jake and Britanie's. Here's the kiddos with their gifts from Grandpa Bret and Grandma Julia.

Chantz came out of his shell a little and decided to make friends with Uncle Allen. They had a great time opening presents, playing ball, and bowling! The second night the boys spent the night at Jake and Britanie's with Grandma Trudy and Great Grandma Jones. I wish I had a picture of the adorable packages the boys received-everything in their bags was gingerbread themed. They even had gingerbread games, play-dough, and gingerbread peeps-yum!
So, I have never made pie before. Except for this Thanksgiving, and it was the most horrible creation of my life. I don't know why, but I decided that making mini pies for everyone in the family for Christmas was a marvelous idea. Look how cute they were! Unfortunately, they completely boiled over in the oven and were a complete disaster.
:( That may be the last time I try to make a pie.
Here's Trippster with the "gingerbread" rice krispie house he made during his gingerbread party:
 Christmas Eve-after Santa came!
Christmas morning was exciting! The boys loved all their gifts! Little did they know the best gifts were yet to come...

Daddy's gift to them-the fanciest bunk beds I have ever seen! He made them, of course. He is one talented guy!
 Santa's gift to them....
Meet Scarlette "Lettie" Jones. She is a tiny little spunky black lab. As you can see, Grandma Teresa loves her, and the feeling is mutual!
 Aunt Macey with Lettie:
What would Christmastime be without uncle time? They boys loved seeing their BYU uncles Brice and Chase! Don't worry-that moustache was shaved off soon after this picture was taken.
Uncles Brice and Trey at Ihop:
 So sweet!

Lettie the lapdog. Unfortunately, in that picture she maybe weighed four pounds. Now she's almost thirteen pounds and still thinks she's a lapdog. What are we going to do when she's seventy pounds??
Hope you all had a merry Christmas!
