Baby Blessing

My Happy Little Boy

Dear Baby Chantz,

Wow-you're three months old! Mommy and Daddy finally decided on a date to have your blessing. It was a wonderful day! Daddy gave you such a sweet blessing. It isn't hard to tell that your Heavenly Father loves you so much...as do we! After the blessing, Daddy told me he hadn't even been planning to say most of the things he ended up saying. It really was a blessing from the Lord!

After the church, we had a whole bunch of people over to celebrate your special day. Here's a list of all the people who came: Grandma Trudy, Grandma and Grandpa Hessing, Trey, Lainey, and Macey, Grandpa Bret and Grandma Julia, Grandma Gibbons, Aunt Britanie, Uncle Jake, Paislee, Ella, Grant, and Parker, Uncle Allen, Aunt Sarah, and our friends Dave, Carrie, and their kids. It was quite a full house! Everyone had a great time visiting and taking their turn to cuddle you and pinch those kissy cheeks. :)

You are growing up! You are 14 weeks old and weigh 15 lbs! You are holding your head up on your own, laughing, and always smiling and happy. You love lying on your back and looking around at everyone and everything, and you are sleeping through the night! You and your big brother Tripp are best buddies already. Trippster is always giving you kisses and hugs and telling me how much he loves the baby.

Daddy and I are so happy to have you as part of our family. You bring us so much joy, and we love seeing you grow bigger each day and watching as you discover the world. We love you so much!!

Love,
Mommy

Cute! I wish we could have been there. Sorry we live so far. Oh and I know Diana. She was in my ward growing up. Small world. Does she have a blog?

Anyhow, I will add Kolob Canyon and Cedar Breaks to my growing list of things you must see when you come and visit.

Wish we could have been there! I bet by the time we see Chantz, he'll be in high school.
