We had a great Easter! This is the first year Tripp understood what was going on. He was very good about remembering that we were "celebrating Jesus," but of course he was the most excited about the Easter Bunny!
Here are my two little angels before church on Easter Sunday:
Tripp finally found his basket! That Easter Bunny really hid it well!
Daddy had to help him get it down
Daddy also helped Chantz find his-it was in the bathtub :)
After church, we headed to my parents' house for MORE Easter baskets and an Easter egg hunt! Here is part of the family, including my two grandmas, helping the kids look for eggs:
He had a blast and found more than his fair share!
Trey was pretty excited as well
Tripp found his second Easter basket in the cupboard in the kitchen!
Chantz was worn out after the Easter festivities...
Below are just some random fun pictures...

Things around here are crazy but fun! The boys really keep us busy. Tripp has been doing some hilarious things. For example, he has been wanting a pillow with "real fathers" in it. He also wanted Chantz's boppy pillow to have feathers. To remedy this, he tore open our couch, pulled out some stuffing, unzipped the boppy, and stuffed it! (And got in trouble afterward, I might add)
Some favorites of my boys:
Tripp's favorite movie: "The Sword and the Stone" and "Tangled"
Tripp's favorite book: Dr. Suess's "Oobleck"
Tripp's favorite food: Corn dogs with ketchup
Tripp's favorite thing to do: Find anything that looks like a sword and hit people with it.
Tripp's least favorite things: Eating and sleeping-seriously, he rarely does either one!
Chantz's favorite food: Gerber lasagna and spaghetti
Chantz's favorite thing to do: Smile and anyone and anything!
Chantz's milestones: He crawls and pulls himself up on furniture, says "dadada," knows the sign language for "fan," claps his hands, and he almost has his first tooth-my kids get their teeth late!
Last but not least...we got a double stroller! As you can see, Tripp loves to lounge in the back. It is tailored around the older kid so it has arm rests and about ten times more foot room than any other stroller I have ever seen. We love it-thanks Mom for picking it up for us!
