Greetings from the Jones Family!

Merry Christmas!!

This has been quite the eventful year for our family! Bryant and I just celebrated our four year wedding anniversary, and with each year our schedules seem more and more full, and our lives seem busier than we ever imagined. However, despite the craziness, we have never been happier.
Chantz Bryant Jones was born into our family this June. The pregnancy and birth were uneventful, and Chantzter was born healthy! He is almost six months old, weights 16 lbs and has started to roll and wiggle his way around. :) He is a very happy little guy and always has a smile on his face. He loves to be tickled, be read to, and especially loves when Tripp sings to him. Tripp makes up his own songs for him and sings them whenever Chantz crys. It is so sweet! Chantz is growing out of his 6-12 month clothes and we are thinking he and Tripp will be sharing clothes before long! He has been eating pears, sweet potatoes, corn, rice cereal and oatmeal. As long as there's something sweet in each bite, he's all for it. He has brought so much joy into our lives!
Tripp just turned three and is quite the character! He tells us his name is "Tripp Uncle Allen Jones Hessing." In reality his name is Tripp Allen Jones. He loves books, blankies, sports, netflix, board games, and video games. He hates naps, food, and being told what to do. :) He is very independent and sometimes I wonder if he even needs me around! He is potty trained, he gets himself food out of the kitchen, can use the wii by himself, and dial Grandma on the phone without help! He is always telling us "Mom, I love you." Or "Dad, I love you! I love you more!" He is full of energy and loves to run and play sports. He also has quite the collection of imaginary friends. At the present time their names are Benny, the Green Guy, the Blue Guy, Diego, and Baby Jaguar. He has told me they live in my house, but they have a lot of money. So I let them stay. :) We love Trippster so much!!
Bryant has had a career change this year and now works at Franklin Building Supply managing their Closet department. He has been there around eight months and has really enjoyed it. He has expanded the department to include cabinets as well. We feel so blessed that he enjoys his job and is in a position that has room to grow. He is planning on staying there for a very long time. He also started school and hopes to obtain a degree in Business Finance. He has been able to enjoy his pastimes this year-fishing, hunting, and starting to design the home we hope to build in the future. He is also loving being a daddy of two and adores our little boys. He and Tripp "fish" together and have recently been playing nerf guns together in the evenings. They are two of a kind!
I have been keeping busy with the two kiddos, work, and church callings. I was blessed to have three months off after I had Chantz and I spent much of that time up at the cabin with family. I am still working in the ICU at a part time RN and and currently taking an in-depth critical care course that is teaching me many new skills. This month I was released from my calling as a Relief Society Activity Meeting Coordinator. I am sad to move on, but had so much fun this past year helping to plan and carry out the monthly activities. In my tiny bit of spare time I have enjoyed reading many books, baking, exercising, and spending time with my parents, siblings and Grandma that live so close to me. I truly feel blessed.
We hope at this time you are enjoying the holidays with your loved ones, and remembering what this season is truly about. We are thankful for our Savior Jesus Christ and for the many blessings we have been given this past year. We hope you all have a wonderful holiday season.
Love,
The Jones Family
