Fun with four wheelers...fun at the zoo!

So far Summer has been quite eventful and full of fun. Tripp and I went to the Boise Zoo with some of my friends from work. We had a blast! I don't think he fully understood what he was looking at but he did love the lions and the zebras. He kept "roaring" while we were looking at the lions. We had quite the little group with us-there were four of us girls and each had 1-2 toddlers. I got a picture of part of the lineup:

Overall it was a great day and we will plan to do it again before summer is over!

Memorial day was spent in Island Park at the cabin, of course. We stayed for about 3 days. We were able to go to West Yellowstone and see the musical "Footloose." Tripp actually sat on my lap the whole show! Bryant was able to go fishing during that time and caught a 21" trout. Way to go! Tripp and Bryant went on a few four wheeler rides. We're thinking next summer Tripp will be ready to operate them on his own. He's a very advanced young man. :) It did end up raining a lot that weekend, but it was one of the best cabin trips I have had in a long time. It was so beautiful and peaceful and we were able to spend some valuable time with family. It was great to see Kevin and Pat, Chelsie and Michael, and Grandma. We are planning on heading back up the end of June and can't wait!

As far life goes, the Joneses are doing well. I'm still working two nights a week at Mercy Medical Center in the ICU and learn new things each time I work. I am still in the Young Women's and am gearing up for girls' camp coming up in a month. Bryant is working hard on many different projects and is having a great time being so busy each day. We are in the process of helping my parents do hardwood floors in their entire downstairs and we are trying to get it done in 1 week because Brice is coming home! We will see him next Tuesday! We have been working hard on getting his room ready for him and planning a cabin trip that he will be able to come on with us.

Here is my handsome little man:

I promise I will do better updating you more quickly on our summer adventures--we now have internet that is reliable and I think blogging will be so much easier!
